Our New Home

We Made It!

We made it to Brea, California on December 17th. It was a long, long drive, but we finally made it. We have a really nice two bedroom, two and a half bathroom home in Brea, California. It is quite beautiful and is within walking distance of almost everything you could ever need. There is a great downtown area with a lot to do and we are eager to discover everything in our new town.

Just a few short days

It is finally starting to hit me that we are actually moving. We pack our bags and head for California on Thursday, December 16th. I have mixed feelings; I am very, very excited, but dread saying good-byes here in Kansas City. I look forward to getting settled into our new home and not living in a mess of boxes, sleeping on an air mattress and eating creative meals just to use up what is left. I look forward to 75 degree temperatures rather than the bone chilling temperatures we have been experiencing here and starting a new life in a new place. I look forward to starting my new job as a medical claims and billing specialist and staying home with my beautiful little girl. So, farewell Kansas City, Missouri and here I come Brea, California.

Moving to California

On December 17th, 2010 we will be moving to Brea, CA. Matt will be attending Southern California University of Health Sciences and I will be working from home as a Medical Claims and Billing Specialist. Although we will miss our family and friends in Kansas City, we are very excited to start a new chapter in our life and see what the Lord has in store for us in California. We hope this blog will keep us all connected.
